I know you want to meet Belinda!

Hear from one of the women inside my group coaching mastermind, The Intentional Business Collective.

Belinda Grace Fischer is one of the wonderful women who’s spent the last 6 months inside my group coaching mastermind, The Intentional Business Collective.

Say, Hey Belinda! 🙋‍♀️

Belinda is an English-German translation and transcreation specialist from Germany who works with the likes of Urban Outfitters and Motel One. She helps them reach their audience in their mother tongue, with messaging that’s fully dialled. (Ever seen a foreign brand try and market in a language that’s not their own? Belinda’s work helps avoid the kind of copy that make you say, Hmm…that doesn’t quite land.)

Last August, Belinda decided to join the Intentional Business Collective to gain more clarity across different areas of her business and be part of an accountability group with like-minded, driven businesswomen. Let’s just say that she joined The Intentional Business Collective and magic ensued — it was a match made in heaven, if you will.

Coaching + accountability + a group of go-getter women meant that in 6 months Belinda…

🎉 launched a brand-new offering (with pricing that was double what she initially planned — thanks to the mentoring she got inside The Collective.).

🎉 hosted a super-successful paid collaborative workshop with ProZ.com (an online community for over 1,351,471 professional translators and translation companies).

🎉 subsequently decided to pause her new offering, after she got super clear & confident in one of our coaching calls, that it ultimately did not align with her vision.

🎉 internalized the power of small co-working or “Get Shit Done” sessions and even hosted one of her own with a group of fellow translators.

🎉 learned the importance of becoming more intentional with the time she spends taking video calls, as they’d been piling up and taking away from her focus time. Now Belinda sets herself a limit of no more than 3 “coffee calls” per week, in addition to her regular client meetings.

As part of the Intentional Business Collective, she’s worked through challenges and opportunities like…

💪 how to deal with negative feedback when you put yourself out there

💪 new ways of marketing her offers that align with who she is and what she does best

💪 finding the right way of doing business for her, despite what the rest of her industry or other business owners might be doing

💪 setting boundaries and learning to say no to opportunities that aren’t a right fit Belinda jots down notes during our sessions like her brain is on fire.

She tells me it’s because I’m dropping ideas, input, and wisdom that gives her serious GSD (that’s get shit done) inspiration — but I’ll give her credit for this one because she’s someone who pays close attention and means business about creating the amazing business and life she desires.

Typically, within 24-48 hours of our calls together, Belinda drops us a note in the community saying things like, “I already did A, B, and C that we talked about!” She’s an action-taker, that one, and she’s reaping major rewards as a result of it: new dream clients, cool collaborations, a supportive network…the list goes on.

Here’s what she told me about her experience inside The Intentional Business Collective.

“What I love about our weekly Intentional Business Collective sessions is the support we give each other. Every week, there's a slightly different format, from hot seat coaching to co-working to mastermind sessions. Listening to what's on everyone's minds is super helpful and provides a great deal of clarity for both our professional and personal lives. I look forward to keeping in touch with this group far beyond our 6 months together!

Your expertise and experience is also something I directly benefitted from, as a business owner, and especially as a woman business owner. Your guidance as a coach — the way you ask questions, and the way I was able to have epiphanies in my business because of how you guided me — that’s something that really stood out to me.”
